  • Salary: Up to £44,464 dependent on experience
  • Location: Barnsley (Hybrid working with 3 days required in the office)
  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37 hrs per week)
  • Working Arrangements: Agile (minimum 3 days in the office)

We are on the lookout for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed professional Social Workers to join our Children and Young People Team.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Deliver services where children feel safe, are listened to, and receive timely, creative, and individual responses.
  • Focus on outcomes for children and young people, ensuring interventions are meaningful and proportionate.
  • Work with children subject to Child In Need, Child Protection, and in care proceedings.
  • Collaborate with families and agencies to drive plans and promote outcomes.
  • Participate in a comprehensive induction programme and engage in continuous professional development through our Practice Development Hub.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Work professional with confidence and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with children in various safeguarding contexts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and other agencies.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
