Digital Finance Apprentice

Journeycall, part of The ESP Group, deliver bespoke customer care solutions. They are looking to expand their team in the finance department.

What will your day look like?

  • Become a systems expert to check, code and input purchase invoices, hand raise on SAGE
  • Use Office 365 such as Excel to keep track of payroll
  • Act as the first response to provide assistance and support to Finance Supervisor as and when required
  • Learn how to raise sales invoices and distribute to clients, chasing ensuring adherence to payment term and timelines, following up where required
  • Using collaborative technology to maintain and upkeep documentation across the year to support annual audit process using internal software, storage and filing systems such as Share Point and Share File
  • Respond to employee queries in a timely manner, providing accurate information
  • Attend and participate in meetings ensuring relevant information is communicated and acted upon
  • Develop and maintain relationships within other departments to develop a full understanding of customer expectations to ensure that service meets expectations
  • Act as an ambassador for the company ensuring confidentiality is always maintained

Required skills:

  • Computer literacy and the ability to use Microsoft packages well
  • Customer Service experience
  • Good administration skills and a passion for finance
  • Polite and professional with a desire to learn

Salary:

£22,308 per annum

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week across 7 days between 7am - 10pm
