The Role
- Own the product development from inception to launch
- Ensure standards are met
- Schedule and manage production trials
- Build strong relationships with NPD, production and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance for continuous improvement
- Trial new equipment
- Support initial production runs, troubleshooting and ensuring costing aligns with efficiency
The ideal product technologist will have:
- Educated to degree level in a food or science related subject
- Good IT Skills
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with food manufacturing
- Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Manages workload with efficiency and organisation
- Shows initiative
- Excellent communication & attention to detail
