Our client, a growing SME in Kent, is seeking a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to manage a small finance function and help grow the business. This role will suit a career-driven and ambitious fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) keen to develop their career.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and presenting the annual budget, as well as regular forecasts and reforecasts
- Team management of 1 other staff member in finance
- Analyse sales figures and profitability and making recommendations to directors
- Responsibility for monthly management accounts and annual financial reports
- Ensuring weekly payroll and pension contributions are completed accurately.
- Working with business owner on new initiatives
- Flexibility to take on more responsibility in the longer term.
The successful candidate:
- Full qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience with Sage50 is helpful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
- A change mindset and ability to improve processes within the finance division.
- On-site in Sittingbourne, Kent, 5 days per week.
£up to 65,000 per year plus benefits.
