Ecommerce Executive (Incontinence Management)

Based in Lancashire

Position Overview

Ecommerce Executive will be responsible for the delivery of the third-party reseller plans (including Amazon) and for our product portfolios within the B2C channels. You will work within the IM commercial team to ensure delivery of relevant plans, promotional activities and assets to meet customer needs and to ultimately deliver on the company objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Strategic Ecommerce Manager in the execution and delivery of the B2C marketing plan to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with Global Inco Business Division to support in the day-to-day communications for Amazon.
  • Monitor, maintain and update product information to our ecommerce partners and their platforms and fulfil data and asset management requests for images, logos and descriptions.
  • Support the Strategic Ecommerce Manager and Head of Sales and Marketing with preparation and launch of new products to the IM Division.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the ecommerce marketplace for incontinence with a keen focus on the B2C channels in which the company operate in the UK.
  • Continuously track and evaluate performance of all marketing activities, demonstrating return on investment and provide recommendations for optimisation/corrective action where relevant.
  • Support the Strategic Ecommerce Manager with collation of market intelligence, market research, maintenance of up-to-date databases on competitor product alignments, pricing and product/service solutions.
  • Forecast, plan and manage the ecommerce product portfolios, aligning all forecast impacts from across the business to feed into Supply Chain Management.
  • Follow marketing processes to ensure compliance with internal quality management policies including samples processes and recording, artwork reference management and labelling.
  • Support and attend National Sales Meetings.
  • Attend marketing meetings, training courses and appraisal meetings with active participation, and support with the co-ordination of meetings within the team.
  • Communicate with the Strategic Ecommerce Manager on all aspects of your role in line with agreed administration protocols.
  • Undertake any other marketing tasks required that support achievement of personal, departmental and company objectives.

Other Duties

  • Ensure compliance with all company policy and procedures
  • Carry out any other duties commensurate to the post as required by your Line Manager or a Senior Manager
  • Variations to the role profile may be required from time to time and when this arises there will be a discussion with the post holder
  • Occasional field visits and attendance at events or exhibitions to build an understanding of our markets, business areas and customer requirements
  • To demonstrate and embed all company values, creating a positive and effective feedback culture

Person Specification

Qualification

  • Educated to degree level or have a higher education marketing qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar marketing role. • Proven track record of increasing revenue through marketing activities. • Competent in tracking and demonstrating return on investment from marketing activities. • Experience in reading analytical data from online platforms e.g. Google Analytics, Amazon dashboards. • Previous product management experience in ecommerce, retail, healthcare, cosmetics, etc. • Experience of working with marketing and creative agencies to deliver marketing assets which meet the needs of the customer and the business.

Skills & Attributes

  • A good level of attention to detail to ensure compliance to corporate brand guidelines. • Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel, Powerpoint, OneDrive and MS Teams. • Strong interpersonal skills required as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, able to work with a variety of individuals both across the business and external customers.• Customer orientated always considering what are the needs for the end user. • Ability to plan and manage workload autonomously, managing a variety of tasks at any given time. • Self-starter able to demonstrate initiative. • Located close enough to commute into our Heywood HQ a minimum of 2 days per week. • Basic understanding of how to use a CRM system e.g., Salesforce.com (desirable).
