We are seeking a Finance Manager to join an established management and building services company, based near Southampton. You will benefit from a generous benefits package and be in a supportive and collaborative working environment with a stunning office location.
You will be involved in the everyday functioning of the business and will also have an impact on the commercial and strategic elements. This role provides a chance to interact with a variety of stakeholders and offers a clear progression path.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will
be involved in
:
- Production of quarterly management accounts
- Attending management meetings relating to ongoing projects and management accounts and presenting information at those meetings
- Preparation of year end files
- Monthly and fortnightly payroll and related pension functions
- Producing budget and cashflow forecasts
- Monitoring and analysing project budgets
- Liaising with external tax accountants and other professional contacts
- IT projects (accounts and estate management based)
What you will need:
- To be a qualified accountant – AAT / ACA / ACCA /CIMA – with relevant practice and post-qualified experience
- Previous experience in a similar role - Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Financial Accountant / Management Accountant
- Experience in small, owner-managed companies would be beneficial
- A keen eye for detail, excel spreadsheet skills and attention to accuracy of output
- Motivation and confidence to thrive in the role
