Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum

My client is a criminal law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients. The team is passionate about justice and committed to delivering high-quality representation. They are currently seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to support busy Solicitors and Partners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Solicitors specialising in criminal law.
- Manage and organise case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and properly filed.
- Dictate and transcribe legal documents, correspondence, and reports to a high standard using digital dictation software.
- Maintain appointment schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle client communications.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other relevant agencies, ensuring compliance with legal procedures.
- Conduct legal research and assist with the preparation of case materials as needed.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Assist in billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in a criminal law setting.
- Proficiency in digital dictation and audio typing, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
