My client is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, implementing financial strategies, and supporting the management team with insightful financial analysis.

Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • manage & support management accounts team
  • Ensure production of monthly accounts for all subsidiary companies
  • Prepare management accounts for selected companies
  • Budgeting/forecasting
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly staff expenses
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual audit

Profile

The successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing and production industry.
  • Strong leadership/line manager skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent management accounting skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
