HVAC Regional Sales Manager

Our client provides bespoke heating solutions for commercial applications across the UK and Ireland. They design custom-made, premium quality designer steel radiators and radiant panels to fit the requirements of the individual projects. They are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager who has previous experience selling to HVAC specification sales contacts.

This role requires the employee to live within a 45 mile journey from the M25, and requires travel around the surrounding areas.

Tasks

  • Providing solutions for specifying Engineers, typically within Building Services Consultants, Building Services Contractors, Local Authorities and other influencing design offices on major projects, to support technically and produce a design stage specification for the full range of products and systems.
  • Pro-actively networking with architects, consultants, specifiers, main contractors & sub-contractors to ensure major projects are tracked from concept, through design, tender and order stages, as well as providing a high degree of after-sales service.
  • Ensuring liaison between customers and internal departments for providing important data, effective feedback and communication.
  • Implementation of the sales strategy according to the business' goals and objectives to accelerate growth of Purmo Group (UK) products.
  • Understanding the requirements of customers to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Working with internal departments to ensure the product and service proposition is appropriate for current and future market requirements.
  • Working in conjunction with the Category Manager to ensure all market intelligence is fed back in an appropriate manner, including pricing, product, competitors, customers etc.
  • Assist the customer in defining project requirements, influencing the preparation of specifications or matching our products with existing specifications.
  • Prepare accurate and appropriate equipment schedules and specifications where required for all systems and products as required by customers.
  • Use lead generation tools or work with the internal Business Intelligence unit when targeting new business and developing pipeline.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans and has attention to detail

Salary - £70,000 + bonus
