We are seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to provide exceptional support to a team of Financial Advisers. This role involves not only research and report writing but also occasional participation in client meetings to help formulate financial plans and strategies.
Day to Day of the role:
- Support Financial Advisers with research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.
- Provide technical support to ensure advice is suitable and compliant with FCA rules.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products across the UK marketplace.
- Review and update Fact Finds, ensuring all information is accurate and clearly presented.
- Prepare Financial Plans/Reports and Suitability Letters within appropriate timeframes.
- Assist with client meetings, including note-taking and follow-up actions.
- Prioritise workflow to meet deadlines and contribute to the enhancement of paraplanning processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the financial services industry, preferably within an Independent Financial Adviser environment.
- Experience as a Paraplanner is advantageous, but candidates from a Financial Planning Administration background seeking progression will also be considered.
- Familiarity with conducting product market research and producing suitability letters/report writing.
- Proficiency in using technical financial planning tools, financial modelling, and back-office systems such as Intelliflo Office.
- A good understanding of the financial planning process and associated compliance aspects.
