The role of a Mental Health Mentor includes supporting the children attending the school who are facing dilemmas regarding their mental health. The school provide education to children aged 4-19 with social, emotional and mental health needs. As a Mental Health Mentor, you will be responsible for guiding the students facing challenges and struggling with their mental health. This position would be a perfect opportunity for a recent psychology or criminology graduate to demonstrate their education and see how their degree can benefit vulnerable children. Responsibilities include:

1-1 student support 8:30 - 3:30
Identifying trigger areas
Collaborate with on-site therapists and psychologists
Follow mental health and safeguarding protocols
Ensure maintained focus from students
Collaborate with teacher to customise lesson plans
