We have teamed up with a growing charitable company, based in Whiteley, who are searching for an Accounting Team Leader to join their team. You will lead and support a team of 3 finance professionals and ensure supplier queries are effectively managed.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leadership and management of a team of 3 finance professionals
- Completing monthly ledger evaluations to review performance
- Identifying overdue debts and agreeing further action
- Ensuring payments of all supplier invoices are accurate, in line with supplier terms and on time
- Managing internal escalation of any queries and ensuring they are dealt with and resolved effectively
- Resolution of any payment and invoicing issues with suppliers
- Accurate and timely processing, approval and payment of expenses
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accounting Team Leader / Senior Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant Team Leader / Assistant Accountant / Accounts Team Manager / Finance Manager
- People management experience
- Strong communications and teamwork skills
