Depot Manager – Kitchen and Bathroom Sales

Location: Canterbury, UK

Salary: £39000 base salary + Potential OTE up to: £50,000 based on turnover

Role Overview: As a Depot Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations at our Canterbury location. You will lead a team to drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for sales, and a commitment to delivering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership: Drive sales growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, setting sales targets, and motivating the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

  6. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with trade professionals, contractors, and suppliers to drive business growth and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards to create a safe and compliant working environment.
  8. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably in the kitchen and bathroom industry or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
  • Sound business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on driving sales and profitability.
