Are you looking for a great opportunity as a Production Operative with forklift experience? Our client, a thriving organisation, is seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join their team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, with the potential for long-term stability and career growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift, efficiently unloading and loading lorries with wooden and plastic pallets.
- Safely store pallets using standard and euro-sized racking systems.
- Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse.
- Assist in the production department by manually filling bottles with hand rub and soap.
- Pack spill packs and spill kits efficiently.
- Aid in the blending and dispensing of granules and powders into shakers/pots.
- Contribute to stock control activities in the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in operating a counterbalance forklift is essential.
- Strong physical stamina, as some heavy lifting (up to 25kgs) may be required.
- Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organisational skills, ensuring orders and stock are accurately recorded.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive and positive mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (with an hour lunch break) or 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (with a half-hour lunch break).
