Job Title: Audio Typist
Location: Lister Road, Astmore Industrial Estate, Runcorn, WA7 1SW
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

What you'll be responsible for:
- To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the community clinics and associated health professionals and will actively participate and contribute to the development of the service.
- Clearing a back log of audio typing tasks
- To provide a customer focused service to the users of the clinics to incorporate the co-ordination of appointments and workload management for the clinics liaising with all staff
- Copy type/audio type medical reports which will contain medical/clinical terminology and general correspondence as indicate
- Use of various NHS systems such as System 1
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Strong audio typing skills
- Excellent IT skills including picking up new databases quickly
- Fully proficient with all Microsoft Office packages
- NHS experience highly desirable but not essential
- NVQ 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care or equivalent demonstrable experience (desirable)
