  • Duration: 8-month temporary assignment
  • Location: Sandwich, Kent & Hybrid - 2/3 split
  • Hours: 37 hours p/week - early finish on a Friday
  • Hourly rate: £19.49 - £23.40 p/hour
  • Benefits: Weekly pay, NEST pension after qualifying period

You'll be someone with a passion for communication and desire to develop your engagement skills further by supporting the Colleague Communication and Engagement (CCE) Plan within this International Pharmaceutical company.

Being fully involved in the development, implementation, and measurement of their UK internal engagement programme, you'll be responsible for ensuring everyone is fully informed and empowered; feel trusted and valued as colleagues and feel proud to work for the brand.

The post holder:

Working alongside the CCE Lead, you'll be responsible for:

  • Maximising opportunities and drive genuine engagement through appropriate communications strategies
  • Ensure the timely delivery of business communication channels, (e.g. Colleague Update; World & UK Intranet, Townhalls and Conference)
  • Review and adapt communication offerings to ensure they remain cutting edge & benchmarked against external best practice
  • Take responsibility for elements of selected engagement programmes and activities to ensure effective distribution of those programmes through relevant channels to maximise impact
  • Drive delivery of communications programmes to support the UK business unit functions
  • Build a network across the business to help improve cross-business communication channels, ensuring communication is aligned to and supportive of the engagement plan as well as partnering with commercial groups and CRGs.
  • Ensures consistent high quality and timely delivery of engagement initiatives, including creation of relevant content.
  • Manage 3rd party involvement/suppliers in relation to areas of responsibility
  • Provide seamless support in the delivery of above country strategic programmes aligned to business objectives
  • Writing copy for business communication channels and colleague engagement programmes

Qualifications:

  • Excellent project management skills, including planning and prioritisation
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical, healthcare and policy environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Exceptional IT literacy, including SharePoint skills
  • On target to gain a degree qualification in relevant field
  • Understanding and knowledge of current communications best practice
  • Day-to-day direction, by the nature of the business, must be self-initiated
  • A strong, demonstrated record of assuming ownership of results is also required
