Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading specialist manufacturing company who are looking for a Senior Design Engineer.
The company design and manufacture large scale engineering products and are at the forefront of their industry with a focus on renewable technology.
Working in a dynamic R&D team this role will play a pivotal role in the front-end design for manufacture process and will support the strategy and overall business objectives to deliver carbon neutral products.
The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- Developing design solutions from concept to manufacture
- Producing 3D CAD models
- Reviewing design drawings to ensure quality and integration
- Becoming the technical expert in the business to lead on product design and development
- Communicating with cross-functional teams to deliver engineered solutions
The Senior Design Engineer will need:
- Previous mechanical design experience using 3D CAD
- A relevant engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environment
- The ability to develop designs, products and processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team
