Through covid and periods of recession, it has never been forced to make redundancies due to the constant and guaranteed stream of work it receives on a monthly basis.
Your role will include:
- Ensuring cases are opened promptly following receipt of new instructions from lender clients
- Cross-referencing and verifying information before issuing initial packs to the borrowers' solicitors
- Interpreting mortgage offers, identifying special conditions and issuing the necessary documentation to the borrower's solicitor
- Liaising with client lenders
- Liaising with Technical Advisors on complex matters and ensuring relevant guidance and instructions are followed
- Regularly chasing the borrower's solicitors for the return of signed documentation and title documentation in order to progress the case
- Taking calls for the team's cases and assisting solicitors/lenders with process queries or taking messages for the conveyancers where necessary
- Assisting in requesting completion funds and dealing with completion
Despite the amount of work the firm receives, ensuring staff have a manageable caseload is a key priority and you are guaranteed not to be placed under pressure with unmanageable caseloads. The firm ensures this stays at a capped level and has an outstanding and achievable bonus structure which provides a generous uplift to your basic salary.
