The company has an opportunity for a Glue Minder at Reflex Pack Plus which is based at Barwell. On occasion you may also be asked to work out of a sister site in Barwell.

Description

We are looking for a Gluing machine operator who is experienced in all areas of the set up & running of a folder / gluing machine and has a wealth of knowledge in folding cartons. Working within a food production environment, you will be required to lead your team to hit timed deadlines without sacrificing on quality.

Duties

  • Work within a team
  • Making ready jobs for gluing
  • Running and monitoring of jobs ensuring quality is maintained.
  • Completing appropriate paperwork to verify operator, quantities and QC.
  • Daily machine maintenance and Health & Safety checks.
  • Completing other daily duties and requests from a Manager.
  • Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Any other jobs required due to the needs of the business

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years: Experience of gluing folding cartons in previous role
  • Computer literate
  • Full clean driving license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated with a positive helpful attitude
  • Reliable, and trustworthy
  • Team player with ability to also work on own initiative
  • Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and wants to learn and grow with the company. The opportunity of working overtime would be required so flexibility to working hours would be necessary.

Hours of Work

Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday 6am-6pm
