Responsibilities:
- Support the Transport & Compliance Manager in adhering to all compliance and legal obligations during your shift, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Assist in executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, ensuring resource availability at the site and keeping the Transport Manager updated.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
- Report to customers and provide updates and solutions to issues that arise throughout your shift.
- Manage the dispatch and arrival of drivers during your 12-hour shift.
- Oversee an SMB FMGCS haulage operation, supplying logistics solutions to blue-chip companies.
Person s pecification:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
