  • *Overview:**

My client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to take a leading role in shaping our technology solutions across applications, data, and infrastructure. In this role, you'll be responsible for defining and delivering solution architectures that align with our overall architecture strategy, vision, and principles. You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure innovation, alignment, and technical excellence across the organization.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Define the solution architecture for enterprise problems, covering data, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with architectural principles.
  • Own and communicate the solution architectures, including current, future, and transitional states.
  • Develop and maintain standards, design patterns, and best practices from a solution perspective.
  • Present and defend solution architectures at the governing Architecture Review Board and address any feedback.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Manage architectural risk and technical debt at a solution level.
  • Establish strong relationships with technology vendors and suppliers.
  • Innovate by keeping up with emerging technologies and contributing ideas for their potential use.
  • Support the architecture team in developing tools and processes for architecture artifacts.
  • *Requirements:**
  • Proven experience in solution architecture with a deep knowledge of IT estates across applications, data, and infrastructure.
  • Application development (.NET/Angular/Azure) background (Database or data development background) but likely to have at least knowledge around cloud and on-premise Infrastructure
  • Looking for someone very engaging and can work with other depts - Good stakeholder skills
  • Strong ability to abstract complex technical issues when necessary.
  • Experience working with senior leadership, product, data, security, and operations teams.
  • Technical leadership skills with strong communication, accuracy, and consistency in delivering architectural solutions.
  • Ability to manage architectural risks and technical debt.
  • Familiarity with architecture governance, review boards, and communicating complex technical strategies.
