Our superb client based in Norwich is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join them on a full time permanent working 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday (earlier finish on a Friday).
As Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with the group accounts functions, authorising payments, balance sheet reconciliation, assist with management accounts queries, processing of bonuses, stock variance analysis, assist with accruals and prepayment processing, monitor business debt and chase up , generating relevant reports, identify financial and operational improvements and make suggestions, and more to support the management accountant. This is an office based role in Norwich and you will remotely support other group locations.
To be considered for the role of Assistant Accountant, you have worked at a similar level, experienced in working within a busy accounts team, excellent attention to detail, strong Excel skills, willing to train and further develop moving forwards, will ideal have AAT level 3 as a minimum although QBE will be considered for the right skill set and person.
