We are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of financial accounting and business partnering, offering the chance to significantly influence our trading teams. The successful candidate will relish independence, have a substantial impact within the team, and adeptly manage potential conflicts.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Influence Category Managers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of margin and central income.
- Serve as the financial expert for the Category team, providing insights and guidance.
- Analyse major drivers of category growth, such as pricing and promotions, to identify trends and opportunities.
- Identify future risks and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with trading teams, fostering strong business partnerships.
- Uphold strong financial controls and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven business partnering skills and experience working with trading teams.
- Demonstrable progression in your career and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- A commercial mindset with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficiency in finance and numerical data analysis, with some Management Account experience.
- Eagerness to broaden your skills by rotating roles in different areas of the business.
- Ability to influence across a wide range of internal functions.
