Our workshop team manufactures a range of counters, bars, drinks units, cabinetry, timber claddings etc using reclaimed rustic materials as well as new.
We operate two site teams working around the UK and our workshop team of 3-4 operatives based in our workshop helping out on site occasionally.
We also manufacture architectural joinery on a smaller scale, shopfronts doors etc all for the commercial sector.
As a skilled workshop foreman, you will be a time-served welder/fabricator with significant experience in heavy general welding and fabrication, proficient in using standard workshop machinery and equipment.
This role involves overseeing the operations of a rapidly expanding workshop focused on welding and fabricating various pipework and bespoke fabrications to meet both in-house and customer requirements.
The client I represent are a well-established busy Shopfitting & Joinery business based in Shrewsbury working from our owned offices and joinery workshop premises.
We cover the UK for our clients completing high end refurbishments and have done for the last 20 years as principal contractor.
We also contract to other well-known brands on a smaller scale with our works increasing.

This role reports into the Workshop Foreman and is to assemble and fit various processing machinery as specified via mechanical design in accordance with good engineering and manufacturing practices.
This would be across our range of new, used and hire machinery.
Our client is looking for a bench joiner foreman to join their experience team who design led cabinetmaking business based in Birmingham and working with clients from across the country to manufacture bespoke cabinetry for the entire home from our large workshop, working with interior designers, architects and own private clients within the residential / domestic sphere.
Experience using a wide range of hand & power tools and workshop machinery essential.
Minimum 2 Years' Experience (qualifications in cabinetmaking an advantage)
