MULTI ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR DUTIES 1. Set up and maintain your Multi Activity area so that it is suitable and inviting for the children 2. Follow policies and procedures to make sure the children in your care will have fun in a safe environment 3. Plan and deliver exciting and safe sessions that are age relevant in line with the Barracudas training received 4. Provide safety instructions and demonstrations of equipment and ensure these are adhered to 5. Ensure that the needs of the children in your care are met with active supervision and attention throughout the day including breaks and lunch times 6. Accurate completion of paperwork relating to Multi Activity sessions on a daily and weekly basis 7. Encourage maximum participation of the children in the group 8. Work alongside other staff members who may come to assist with your sessions 9. Checking the Multi Activity equipment efficiently and regularly 10. Take responsibility for general welfare and safeguarding 11. Lead the Motor Mania skills builder course 12. Maintain a tidy site and ensure all equipment is packed away 13. Ensure the safe use of equipment provided for your sessions REQUIREMENTS 1. Undertake our FREE 1-day Multi Activity course prior to your employment start date 2. Be aged 18 or over by the start date of your contract 3. Be eligible to work in the UK 4. Provide satisfactory professional/academic references 5. Be enthusiastic, caring and organised with excellent communication skills and be able to use your initiative 6. Obtain an enhanced DBS check through Barracudas or have an existing enhanced DBS on the Update Service 7. Attend a Virtual Assessment Event if you're new to Barracudas (See Staffroom for dates) 8. Complete Online Training annually 9. Attend Induction Training Day ahead of your first working season (this will most likely take place within the 7-day period before your camp opens) 10. THE ROLE The Operations teams are currently recruiting a multi-skilled Production Operative to join the Fishergate site. This role is to be employed on 37.5 hours' basis to support the business to meet its changing production demands. This role will cover all shifts across the plant on a needs basis to ensure resource cover during periods of training and annual leave. This means that the successful candidate will be advised of their shift for the following week by Thursday of the week before. If holiday or training cover is not needed, then the default position is that this role would work on the night shift. RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with health and safety standards and reporting any near misses or incidents in accordance with Company Policy. Operate in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) to ensure high levels of performance and quality, reporting any issues promptly. Work in line with the site's quality standards, undertaking quality checks as appropriate. Undertake first level maintenance tasks/asset care on designated areas of the Corrugator including involvement in CIL procedures. Undertake competency-based training in all areas within the production area to become multi-skilled (this could include working within the corrugator team and / despatch teams on either of the Norwich Sites). Ensure designated areas of Corrugator always comply with 5s standards. Participate in proactive problem-solving exercises and involvement groups to contribute to addressing any issues affecting operations. Communicate to team members and following shift team members to ensure that a high-quality handover takes place. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Qualifications (essential and desirable) 5 GCSE's (grades A-C) including English and Mathematics or equivalent experience (essential). NVQ 3 in a maintenance discipline (desirable). Experience of working within a semi-skilled role and / a good level of technical understanding with a mechanical aptitude (desirable). Experience of using a process control system (desirable). Skills, Knowledge, and Experience (essential and desirable) An ability to follow health and safety policies and procedures and be proactive in supporting a positive health and safety culture. An ability to adhere to defined procedures and performance standards to ensure operations are compliant with the required quality standards to meet customer requirements. ICT skills. Responsible for the undertaking of quality assurance inspections on a predetermined amount of all works delivered and recorded. Responsibility to supply additional/remedial work as required in an efficient, profitable, and safe manner. Overall responsibility for ensuring the auditing of records of all work carried out on plant and equipment within the site manuals both hard copies and electronic.
