In this role you will work as part of our external team of staff. Engineering CAD Designer CAD Engineer vacancy for a successful company based in King's Lynn. This is an opportunity to join great, growing business as they are expanding their team. The Job We are looking for a Engineer, proficient in the use of SolidWorks to assist our client with daily CAD requirements and to assist on larger capital projects. As projects are released, you will be required to work with the commercial team to understand the requirement and design/engineer the relevant products (Carts/Workstation etc) to enhance productivity. Complete drawings packs including the full BOM Reverse Engineer to solve problems and come up with inventive design solutions Review materials and manufacturing processes to ensure the products are developed in a lean and cost-effective process avoiding over-engineering. The Person Engineering Qualification or relevant experience Well organized and able to plan ahead Thrives in a busy environment AutoCAD and SolidWorks proficient (Inventor/SolidEdge experience will be considered) Starting Salary £28,000 - £32,000 per year.
