Role Overview We're looking for an Industrial cleaner to support our client's site in Burton Latimer. At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. This is a role using heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights. The environment is food manufacturing and you will be required to wear protective clothing, be trained on chemical sanitation, follow health and safety guidelines, and understand that you cannot wear jewellery except for a wedding ring band, have false eyelashes, or have false nails or wear make up while on operation for hygiene reasons. Hair nets, beard nets (where required) and safety boots will be provided. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning in a food factory to a level of excellence against food industry standards. An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas. Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and other tasks as required. You may come into regular contact with customers so you must be able to assist them if needed. Completion of all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed. About You: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK A background in cleaning would be advantageous and understanding of COSHH. Must be hardworking, reliable, and punctual. Experience in working within a team. You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as be flexible with working hours and days.
