South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic Work Experience Officer. The role is to help support and monitor meaningful work experience and industry placements for students across a range of curriculum areas; this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join this successful team. The Work Experience Officer will work alongside current staff within the WEX department to provide timely support for learners across college to source work placements, complete placement documentation and carry out visits to placement providers to conduct health and safety assessments. The WEX officer will initiate new connections with external employers across a range of industries. The WEX officer will work with employers to ensure that all T-Level documents are in place and actively source new employers to partner with. Successful applicants must have experience of working with 16-18 years old age range, the ability and confidence to use office 365, desirably involvement with engaging with employers and be a first point of call for all work experience enquiries, including telephone, email, or post enquiries. The Work Experience officer will ensure the College's CRM is kept up to date with all work placement documentation.
