We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team in Jarrow, South Tyneside.
Here we provide quality person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and additional mental health support needs to live exciting and independent lives.No two days will be the same at this service as we support service users in a supported living environment to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities including cooking/baking, walking, shopping and many more!

The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Gateshead in search of a number of Learning Support Assistant's to join their team from September 2024.
In order to be successful in your application, you must be confident and have some experience of supporting children to achieve their learning goals within a school setting, preferably with the secondary school age group (11-18).
Requirements for this role
Experience working with 11-18 year olds within the past 2 years.

Requirements for this role
Experience working with 11-18 year olds within the past 2 years.
You will need to be able to identify and report any safeguarding issues to help assist the young person's development and keep them on track.
For this role, you will need to have good attention to detail, writing detailed notes about the young service users' emotions, interactions with colleagues/family members, conversations in person and on the phone, food diaries and the daily routines.
The role will require you to partake in activities with the young person and help to manage their money, ensuring receipts are kept for each transaction.
