A rare opportunity has arisen, for a Communications & Events Officer to join the Marketing Team within this successful College Group based at their Redhill/Croydon site. The purpose of this role is to support the focus on increasing the Colleges' brand presence with the use of the company websites, social media platforms and the growth of event activity; measuring and reporting on campaign outcomes. Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 (DOE) Location: Redhill with some travel to South Croydon site Hours/Benefits: 08:45 to 17:00, free parking, generous annual leave, gym membership, pension, excellent training and much more Due to the nature of this role a full DBS check will commence for the successful candidate What will your working week be like? Provide the Marketing team with content for use across press releases, news articles and corporate collateral Lead on the coordination and delivery of internal and external events (Open and Enrolment Events, school events, business and community events). This includes attending and representing the College, some of which may be outside of the regular working hours Event management, planning and implementation for all events Lead on hiring facilities with revenue driven targets Write and update website copy using the Content Management Systems Lead on obtaining case studies for circulation to schools, community groups and employers Gain and manage relationships with media outlets to support the work of the organisation Build and maintain marketing database using the CRM to support marketing initiatives ensuring GDPR processes are followed Quality control marketing materials and ensure all items obtain sign off to the required levels Photograph key events, write news copy and select imagery for publication Co-ordinate the College image release permissions libraries in order to ensure that the appropriate permissions are received prior to use in any publication and in line with GDPR Create evaluation and statistical reports to gauge success and propose developments to existing activity Collate and analyse data related to relevant sectors and competitors, producing evaluations and recommendations for improvement The successful candidate must have: Degree or equivalent qualification (ideally in a Communications/ Digital marketing related discipline) or relevant professional experience Proven Experience in a Digital Marketing role Experience organising events and working in fast-paced environments Exemplary copywriting and proof-reading skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent use of English Language, across written and verbal communication For your information: Interested?
