Our client requires a Warehouse Support to organise in-coming deliveries and co-ordinate the warehouse. To ensure this is a smooth-running operation. Monday-Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm £13/h £19.50/h on Saturdays Job starts on 6th May Interviews available from week commencing 15th April Ongoing work. Main duties will involve: To take responsibility of all incoming deliveries and complete relevant paperwork. Assist the delivery team with loading/unloading our delivery vans. Distribute these deliveries and paperwork to the relevant departments or warehouse as soon as possible. Have odd-job skills to build furniture, help merchandising team moving/lifting furniture & interiors. Ensuring deliveries are checked off correctly. Appropriately noting any suspected damages etc. on the delivery note and notifying the appropriate manager. General Maintenance Move Vans in the yard, preparing for loading/unloading or parking them in the company car park Unpack stock. Overseeing storage in the warehouse, having a system of where all stock is stored, including pending deliveries to go out. Checking the maintenance of the warehouse and surrounding areas Providing regular reports/communication to management. Make sure all areas of the warehouse and outside waste areas are clean, organised and tidy. Candidates must have: Previous warehouse experience Basic knowledge of using power tools Previous experience within furniture / interior industry would be ideal Driving licence Interested and available? You will be operating within a busy warehouse for a well known electrical company. working day shifts Monday - Friday with optional overtime both through the week and on weekends. Within this role you will be expected to check and scan product as it is delivered to the warehouse. Move in bound deliveries across the site. Have basic understanding and experience using computers/Excel. Stock, count and move various equipment across the site. Communicate and coordinate with management clearly.
