My client is looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join their busy Warehouse working as part of a friendly team. Benefits: Salary up to £24,000 DOE Free parking Monday-Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm 23-days holiday including 3 for Christmas shutdown Duties and Responsibilities: Dealing with deliveries, booking stock in and updating the PO status Taking responsibility for the picking of stock for engineers and building kits for installations and project work Assisting the stores supervisor to ensure that there are appropriate stock levels at all times. Assisting in the organisation of stores and the labelling of products Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory and deliveries for accuracy. Assisting the stores supervisor to maintain basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensuring all picks are completed and orders are ready for collection by the courier. Handling and processing returns Assisting in ensuring all areas are cleared by the end of the day and maintaining high standards of housekeeping. Assisting with regular stock checks Liaising with all other departments as necessary Any other duties required by your line manager. Experience/Skills required. Computer literate Keen eye for detail Good communication skills both in person and on the phone Flexible approach to work and happy to help support others in the team if necessary.
