I am recruiting a Goods-In Coordinator to join a market leading specialist manufacturing business based in Runcorn. Following a period of growth my client is looking for an experienced Goods-In Coordinator to join their friendly warehouse team. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for receiving and verifying incoming goods and ensuring they are stored appropriately. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and must have strong administration and systems experience. You will be joining a friendly and hard-working team with an inclusive culture. Due to the nature of the role this opportunity is based full time on site, working an alternating shift pattern of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday. Responsibilities Include: Manage the booking schedule, taking bookings from Hauliers by email and telephone. Receive incoming goods and materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes as well as completing the Goods In inspection sheet and booking the stock onto the stock control system ( MTMS ) Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the goods in area. Perform against a set number of KPI's and measure deliveries against KPI's for lateness etc. Carry out daily and weekly PI stocktakes. Monitor shelf life of stock and raise concessions as required. Quarterly stock checks will be completed, which will require some weekend working. Ensure all stock is booked in with any discrepancies resolved and complete reconciliation of warehouse invoices for month end close. Previous experience as a Goods In clerk, preferably in the food manufacturing sector. Skills Required: Knowledge of the policies, processes, and systems of warehouse management. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping. Excellent communication skills. Team player with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Previous experience in using inventory management software/systems. Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
