A new role has been created within the Commercial Waste service for a Business Development Manager.
The role will have overall responsibility for all Strategic Planning, Commissioning and the promotion of a profitable Commercial Waste Service.
The post holder will be required to conduct a business analysis process for the existing delivery model followed by creating and implementing a robust business plan.
To lead and manage the waste, recycling and street cleansing services delivered by the Client.
These services currently consist of household and commercial waste and recycling collections, street cleansing and cleaning activities, deep cleansing and rapid response, bulky waste, fly-tipping, flyposting, and graffiti.
To lead and manage all matters relating to Council Transport including Fleet, Municipal Vehicles and Workshop services, ensuring statutory compliance, service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The decommissioning & projects team manage a range of small to medium sized projects related to nuclear decommissioning, building, demolition, installations and refurbishment each with a budget in the range of £0.5M to £50M the role is to provide full Project Management of a number of internal & external projects.
