Joining our client's team means becoming part of a close-knit group consisting of 3 vets, 3 Nurses (including our brilliant students), and 1 VCA. By joining them, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your nursing skills to their fullest extent. Responsibilities include admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting with recoveries and discharges, with support from ANAs and an SVN. This part-time role, comprising 30 hours per week over 3 or 4 days, offers flexibility, with potential for full-time consideration. Rotational Saturday shifts from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm every 1 in 4 weeks are also part of the role. Responsibilities: Utilise nursing skills effectively, including admitting, monitoring anaesthetics, and assisting with patient care. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of clinical procedures. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of patient care. Uphold practice protocols and standards of professionalism at all times. Requirements: Good general nursing experience. Excellent customer service skills. (Required) 4 years post registration experience with at least 2 years in an acute field such as ICU/A&E or pre-hospital roles. (Required) Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and with confidence. Must be dynamic and adaptable in response to the unpredictability of international patient transfer. Demonstrate an understanding of normal anatomy & physiology and the impact of disease, illness, injury & stresses of flight on the patient. Have studied or working towards CCAT course or other aeromedical retrieval course. Experience in aeromedical retrievals. Experience of professional or personal international travel.
