As Finance Manager, you will lead a small finance team of two, guiding them with your expertise and supporting their professional growth. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial operations, including overseeing day-to-day activities, preparing financial reports, and developing strategies to enhance financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department. Develop and implement financial policies and systems that improve financial efficiency. Prepare timely monthly management accounts, including P&L reports, balance sheets, and variance analysis. Preparation and submission of VAT returns. Manage cash flow. Coordinate and lead the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Work closely with management to share reports and analysis findings. Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems. Co-ordinate the year end accounts, preparation of the audit pack for external review. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role. They should have excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling them to manage staff effectively. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel is required. Be qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or QBE. Additionally, the candidate should be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills. Remuneration: Salary £50,000 - £56,000 pa depending on experience. 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday (office based) 22 days holiday plus statutory days.
