Position: Power BI Developer (Contract - 6 months) Duration: 6 months Rate: £250- £300 per day (Inside IR35) Role Overview: As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and reports. This is a hands-on role where you will leverage your expertise in Power BI to deliver insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data and provide insights. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs. Design and implement data models to support reporting and analytics. Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and usability. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Requirements: Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Power BI including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices. Urgently seeking a IBM/RPG/AS400 Developer Initial 6 month contract and the role will be hybrid with weekly visits to site in London required. What you need: Experience in Financial Services, with a strong background in private banking. Experience of developing on the IBM i (aka IBM iSeries, System i, i5, AS/400) using RPG and CL. Must be confident in all flavours of RPG (fixed format RPG, free format RPG, ) Previous experience of using XML, MQ Series, SFTP (or other file transfer protocols) and SQL.
