Testing Validation Engineer Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Adhere to the Organisation's health and safety policy and safe working practices. Operate a multitude of different off-highway vehicles including but not limited to, Hydraulic Excavators, Back-hoe Loaders, Telehandlers, Track Type Tractors where required. Diagnose and fix a range of faults on both engine and machine. Work from engineering drawings (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) Produce electrical looms to interface engine and machine. Travel to various off site test and development facilities both owned and 3rd Party (some overseas).- Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe in line with 5S and total preventative maintenance (TPM) Skills, experience & qualifications you will have; Formal education in an engineering discipline preferably electrical or mechanical Must have ability to communicate effectively with team members and others in the workgroup, as well as employees in other business units, customers, and suppliers. Demonstrable high level of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of engines and machines. - A good working knowledge of instrumentation and its application. - Have a fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities.- Good PC skills and ability to use Microsoft Office and designed software. Skills, experience & qualifications you may have; Good machine/engine hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic/problem solving skills. Previous experience in use of CANape is desirable. Electronic Systems Engineer - Peterborough (Hybrid) - Up to £50/hr - Inside IR35 - 12 month initial contract (Long term role) An Electronic Systems Engineer opportunity has become available for one of the world's leading manufacturers of off-highway machinery and diesel and natural gas engines. In this Electronic Systems Engineer role, you will be heavily involved in the design and development of cutting-edge machine control system technology. You will be responsible for developing Electro-Mechanical Control Systems using quantitative methods to solve problems for internal and external customers.
