About us Angard Staffing is the dedicated provider of Customer Service Advisors to Royal Mail's contact centres across the UK. Due to an increase in the volume of workload; we are seeking additional candidates with a passion for customer service to join the team on a temporary basis. The role The start date for this role is Tuesday 7th May 2024 and will last until the end of June 2024 (with potential for this to be extended). For the first week, you will be working 4 days in the office (Tue-Fri) and then hybrid working from the following week. You will be working 33 hours per week between the hours of 9.00am 5.00pm Mon to Fri (Tue and Wed are office based and Mon, Thu and Fri are work from home days from Week 2) Pay rate: £14.26 per hour Key accountabilities Ensuring pre-employment checks are completed in line with legislative and regulatory requirements including completion of Right to Work, Identity checks, basic disclosure checks. Ensuring onboarding activities are completed to agreed timescales including creation of new starter pay record, issuing of employment contract and sharing onboarding information, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Effectively utilising the IT systems including SAP and Microsoft Office packages to update candidates' personal information accurately. Ensuring individual key performance metrics are achieved each week including candidates hired and payroll cut-offs, as well as maintaining quality standards. Effectively and professionally engaging with candidates, customers and colleagues by telephone and email communications. Effectively prioritising own workloads in line with key deadlines. You will need to be confident on the telephone and able to communicate with customers politely and effectively. This is relief work with 35 Hours guaranteed every week on the same manufacturing site- Monday -Friday with flexibility as you may be required to work some weekends and night shifts. This role is to perform a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance of a safe, clean, and hygienic environment within a food manufacturing facility. Key duties may include the vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping of floors, corridors, and rooms. Cleaning bathrooms and toilets and ensuring that cleaning materials are safely stored. On occasion you may be asked to assist with cleaning within various "high care" areas of the facility and additional training will be provided. To report health and safety issues to your line manager, including all accidents and near misses To promote good safety habits and methods of work To ensure all cleaning materials are used in line with COSHH safety standards. To operate machinery as shown and trained to do so, ensuring that the equipment is used safely and in accordance with current regulations and company policies.
