Global insurance company seeks Underwriting Administrator / Junior Underwriting Assistant to work within their Catastrophe Risk team supporting underwriters in their admin duties.

We are currently assisting a leading company in the marine industry to find a skilled Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant for maternity cover until the end of April 2025.
Responsibilities
Manage outstanding debt from customers, ensuring invoices are sent and/or uploaded to customers' portals.
Handle various sales ledger functions, including setting up new accounts and maintaining records in line with company policy.
The purpose of this role is to process and control accounting transactions relating to our clients' insurance policies.
This role profile is applicable to business areas such as Cash allocation, Bank reconciliation, Insurer & Bordereaux Reconciliation, Client, Insurer & Introducer Payments, Client & Insurer Money Calculations and Credit Control.
This role is instrumental in protecting our clients' money under the CASS 5 rules whilst providing an efficient and compliant service to our stakeholders.

Introduction to the Role and Lloyd's Market Association (LMA)
The LMA has training contract openings on its 2024 Legal Trainee Wordings Scheme for aspiring solicitors who are intrigued by a career in the Lloyd's insurance market and have recently achieved or are working towards LPC or SQE, with a completion date by August 2024.
Throughout the two year scheme, you will participate in meaningful work that benefits the market as a whole and develop specialist knowledge of insurance law and the sector, whilst being involved in cross-market initiatives and joint ventures.
