Your new company Our client is amulti-academy trust with schools across Greater Manchester. They are lookingfor a finance and payroll assistant to support to Finance and Payroll teams. Your new role You will be responsible for: All aspects ofaccounts payable Posting credit cardtransactions Making payments tosuppliers. Posting all banktransactions and producing monthly bank reconciliations Assist in thedepartmental budget monitoring reports Responsiblefor the entry of timesheets and expenses Checkingand validation of all timesheets, then submission into the payroll To supportthe Payroll and Pensions Manager in validating in running and checkingpayroll/payslips What you'll need to succeed You will have: Educatedto at least A level or equivalent qualification GCSE Mathsand English at Grades 9 - 4 or equivalent Minimum of3 years' experience working within finance and accounting, with specificexperience in purchase order processing and accounts payable Experienceof processing transactional payroll data and checking payroll output Desirable:Experience of working in a school or multi academy trust finance environment What you'll get in return You will receive acompetitive salary, 26 holidays plus bank holidays, local government pension scheme, great companyculture with family friendly policies.
