Job title: Treasury Solution Consultant Location: London Working type: Office based Salary range: £100 k -£135k DOE We are partnered with a leading global Treasury consultancy firm who are looking for a Treasury Solutions Consultant to join their London team. In this role you will assist portfolio companies and their financial sponsors improve efficiency, manage risk, and build financial operations that will support growth and safeguard finances. You will need: Experience and knowledge of all aspects of Treasury and Working Capital. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate Treasury or related financial environment. Bachelors degree in a field combining quantitative analysis and critical thinking such as Economics or Finance. Business development experience with a proven ability to understand, assess and react to client needs and the creation of solutions to support their treasury challenges. Treasury Assistant Contract Length: 6 months Salary: £30,000, potentially more for the right candidate. Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible on start and finish times. Location: Reigate, near the train station and parking provided. Job Type: Initially office-based with hybrid option after a training period. We are seeking a Treasury Assistant for a 6-month contract role based in Reigate. This interim position is designed to provide additional support to our team, covering absences and ensuring smooth financial operations. The role will start with office-based training, after which there will be the flexibility to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Day-to-day of the role: Handling daily banking operations with experience in APAC and dealing with multiple currencies. Allocating cash efficiently, managing both Cash in and Cash Out processes. Updating cash forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning. Minimising unallocated cash and understanding its impact on the business. Collaborating with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable teams to ensure seamless financial transactions. Performing reconciliations with high accuracy and attention to detail. Utilising financial software, such as Sage, to manage and report financial data. Working with Excel/Google Sheets to perform tasks using VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, etc. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in daily banking, preferably with APAC currencies. Strong skills in cash allocation and updating cash forecasts. A keen understanding of the importance of minimising unallocated cash. Experience working with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable teams. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient reconciliation skills. Experience with Sage accounting software. Overview One of Mitchell Adam's clients, based in the Birmingham City Centre, is recruiting for a Treasury Assistant to come in and support the Treasury Manager. This role here is exciting as it will be joining a business going through amazing amounts of growth and will be supporting this team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. This role is looking to begin as soon as possible, so please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short term notice, and although this role is a contract position they have said that due to growth there is a strong chance this role can convert over to permanent during this time. The successful person for this role will be someone who has experience with reconciliations, particularly with reconciling complex bank statement reconciliations, looking at different incomings such as cash, card, BACS and occasionally cheques payments. Ideally the successful candidate will have had exposure to all of this, however the key part is someone who is experienced with complex reconciliations. This role will be working heavily with excel so strong knowledge of Microsoft excel will also be a bonus. Skills required Have previous experience in a treasury position where you were responsible for reconciliations of bank statements, beneficial if these reconciliations were complex of some nature. Be immediately available or on a short notice period in your current role. Be confident with excel, as the role will involve managing large data sets within excel to complete these reconciliations. Be confident when it comes to engaging with different departments within the business to resolve reconciliation queries, so strong communication skills will be key.
