The Skills You'll Need: Finance, Administration, Advanced Excel, SAP Your New Salary: up to £33K per annum Location: Central London Duration: temporary assignment up to 1 year Job status: hybrid working possible after the probation period (3 days a week at office) Working hours: 7h per day between 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday (1h lunch break) Who You'll Be Working for: A well-known Japanese company with their office in Central London is seeking a Treasury Operations Assistant in our Finance Department for a period of 1 year. Treasury Operations Assistant - What you'll Be doing each day: The role involves providing treasury operations support and finance administration for the company and its subsidiaries. The role requires efficient, timely and accurate administration and processing skills. Daily monitoring of banking facilities. Notifying staff of incoming fund receipts. Creating templates and entering payment instructions onto on-line banking systems for subsequent checking and release. Supporting with SEPA and International payment inquiries. Daily use of SAP. Aiding in cash management processes including reconciliation and period end close. Accurate and timely processing of general ledger and journal entries including but not limited to payments, receipts, deposit and loan entries/roll overs/maturities, bank charges and account transfers. Assisting in investigation and reconciliation of company ledgers against bank ledgers. Booking of foreign exchange contracts. Maintaining strong working relationships with banks and other internal and external parties daily. Collating data into spreadsheets. General administration duties such as filing, mailing, scanning, and copying of documents etc. Overseas European business trips if necessary. Treasury Operations Assistant - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed: Advanced Excel skills. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Accurate and proven numerical skills. Administrative skills. Excellent customer service skills. General accounting knowledge - preferable. SAP system usage experience - preferable. Practical payment and remittance experience - preferable. Working within a small Treasury Department that transacts Money market and bank to bank Foreign Exchange deals. A new core banking and front office system is currently in the Project phase and the candidate will be involved in testing and implementation. the derivatives trades which include certain FX products full under EMIR.
