Employability and Construction Tutor(CSCS) Company: National Training Provider with a "Good" rated Ofsted Inspection Location: London Our company specialises in delivering training courses in Construction and Security to employed and unemployed learners aged 19. These include short courses, Bootcamps, and NVQs. Due to contract growth, we are now looking for an experienced SIA Tutor. Salary: Up to £36000 per annum bonuses Benefits: 25 days bank holidays, rising to 30 days All travel expenses paid from home at 45 pence per mile Bonuses for travel and overnight stays up to £60 per day where applicable Immediate start available Purpose of the Role: To plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality and innovative teaching and learning sessions in Employability and Construction that engage adult learners, meet their individual needs, and progress them into further training and/or employment. Key Responsibilities of the Employability and Construction Tutor Deliver a range of core courses to help learners develop Employability and Personal Social Development skills to move them closer to the local labour market. Demonstrate competencies in Construction, First Aid Training, Health and Safety, Customer Service, and Employability. Deliver innovative, engaging, and motivating training sessions to support learners in securing sustainable work. Plan and develop sessions that enhance learners' skills, knowledge, and behaviours. Embed Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values throughout the learner journey. Ensure timely marking and assessment of work, providing both written and verbal developmental feedback to learners. Maintain accurate records of the learner journey through relevant systems, including attendance, engagement, and outcomes. Collect and record learner evaluative feedback after each session to support continuous improvement. Stay updated on developments within teaching and learning and continuously update your own CPD. Attend required meetings, including Standardisation and Team Meetings. Complete all paperwork accurately and timely. Skills & Experience Required for the Employability and Construction Tutor Experience working with unemployed adults in an educational setting Ability to plan and deliver innovative and motivational sessions focusing on individual learner needs Understanding of Initial Assessment processes and how to use the information to inform teaching, learning, and assessment Understanding of different learning styles and how to differentiate through various teaching methods Full Driving Licence (national travel required) Qualifications : Level 3 Teaching Qualification Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent Industry experience in Employability and Construction or evidence of good working knowledge Safeguarding, Prevent Awareness, and Equality & Diversity Training Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, D32/D33, A1) is desirable Ability to display a wide range of teaching methods to engage learners from all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, including those with significant barriers to employment and training Driven to deliver the best employer/industry-led skills training Contact: For more information on this role, please reach out to Simon Atkins at .
