Driver Trainer Beeston, NG9 2GQ Grade 5: £31,364 - £34,834 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday) Permanent Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK Key Responsibilities: Organise and administer driving theory tests, training on specialist vehicle equipment and refresher training. Provide presentations and instruction on driving theory, legislation, the Highway Code and advanced road-craft. Train and coach staff on all vehicles within the Service fleet including fire appliances. Assist in the development and production of driver training packages and ensure that current policies and procedures are up to date and reflect current legislation. Experience/Qualification: The successful candidate must be Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) registered, ADI or qualified LGV (Cat C) instructor. Have previous experience of providing driver training or instruction and be a good communicator. Possess an understanding of transport legislation and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes. Hold a valid clean LGV (Cat C), B, BE and D1 drivers licence.
