About The Role We are looking for an experienced receptionist to join our team. This is a busy role with a lot of security responsibility so if you enjoy a challenge and are quick to pick up, retain and use new information we'd love to hear from you. Attention to the smallest details is essential! Although on a zero-hours contract, weekly hours will vary from 6-40hrs. You will be working 12noon-6pm every Friday but will need to be available 6am-6pm Monday to Friday as you will be providing holiday and sickness cover for a team of 5 receptionists. Usually, shifts are 6 hours long but it may, very occasionally, be necessary to do a 12 hour shift. We will try to give you advance notice of your shifts but, as you will be covering sickness, we need someone who can be available on very short notice. You will be working across two sites in East Cowes and will need your own transport due to 6am starts. As you will be relieving the nightguard, at the end of their 12-hour shift, reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role. Due the security aspects of this role, we will need to BPSS-clear you which includes a DBS. Because of specific aspects of the job, like CCTV monitoring and key-holding, you will be expected to complete SIA security guard training and licensing upon completion of your probation period. You will be working Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 18:00, on a permanent, part-time basis.
