Overview: We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. As a Digital Content Creator Apprentice at Level Developments, you will be tasked with producing high-quality digital content for our website, social media platforms, video channels, and digital literature. Salary: £22,000 per annum. Duties: Your role will encompass creating engaging and search engine optimized content, including: Capturing and editing high-quality photographs for digital media use. Producing and editing various video content formats such as promotional, instructional, and corporate explainer videos. Writing, editing, and publishing unique and captivating product and application content. Collaborating with freelancers and third-party agencies to oversee external content creation. Managing website content via the CMS, including adding and editing products, updating posts, writing and uploading case studies, and editing category pages. Monitoring and optimizing website content for search engine performance by identifying and implementing relevant keywords. Contributing to projects aimed at enhancing the visual appeal of the website, such as regular updates to homepage banners. Proposing and implementing website improvements and enhancements. Desirable skills and Personal qualities: Competence in photo editing, retouching, and understanding of resolution, compression, quality, and image sizing. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or similar software. Understanding of SEO principles and basic HTML. Strong written and spoken English communication skills. Creative mind High attention to detail, accuracy, and concentration. Entry requirements: 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, capable of creating adaptable designs for both desktop and mobile. A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating a wide range of web design work that significantly improved user experience. Examples of past ecommerce web designs. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP. Excellent problem-solving abilities for effective troubleshooting and debugging. Strong communication skills for efficient teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration. Creative and innovative thinking, with a proactive approach to exploring new technologies and methodologies. Develop and maintain a comprehensive style guide to ensure consistency in website design elements, aligning with EPH Creative's brand identity.
