We are currently looking for an ICT teacher to work in an amazing secondary school just over 20 minutes from Bristol City Centre. ICT Teacher To start ASAP Day to day/ongoing work Teaching ICT/Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 Bristol-based Secondary School You must have relevant experience working with 11 - 16-year-olds within the last 2 years, and we must be able to obtain relevant references for this time. You should have a professional manner and a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, engaging, and passionate about working with young people. Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement schools' behaviour polices is also essential. Job Description: Delivering engaging and creative ICT lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Supporting, advising, guiding, and supervising students throughout the school day. Supporting these classes in the absence of the timetabled staff/teacher. Delivering the cover work established in the absence of the teacher. Will be required to help promote E-safety across the school through specific lessons and tutorials. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply. Bachelor's degree in ICT/Computer Science Recent experience teaching this subject at secondary school level. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one. What you'll need to succeed: Strong behaviour/classroom management. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff. The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
