VELUX Academy Trainer Are you a skilled carpenter or roofer looking for a new way to utilize your expertise and skillset? Your challenges Your primary responsibility will be the coordination and delivery of training to installers and other trade professionals, training them to understand the benefits of, and how to install, VELUX products. Key tasks will include: Creation of local online training modules and live webinars based on the VELUX Academy training policy, ensuring all activity is aligned with company strategy Coordinate, plan and facilitate trainings for different groups of professionals in agreement with sales teams, customers etc. and taking responsibility for all practical arrangement Participation in training demonstration videos for full installations, typical on-site issues and fault finding Administration in regards to training used for tracking and evaluation This is a field-based role, and you will be based in Manchester and should expect 15-20 travel days per year to visit and deliver training sessions at customers' locations and for internal VELUX meetings and events. You will report to the Technical Training Manager located at our Head Office in Hrsholm, DK, and you will join a dedicated team of Technical Trainers spread across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and GBI. Your qualifications You will be an experienced carpenter, roofer, or similar wanting to take your career in a new direction. We will help you build on your existing technical skillset, to help you become and expert in our products and services To succeed in this role, you: You must be comfortable speaking in front of both smaller and larger audiences. Are structured, able to self-motivate as well as make decisions on your own making you capable and comfortable with working independently. Have a full UK driver's license & valid UK Passport Must be a great communicator Experience with training, education, or trade, as well as experience and familiarity with VELUX products will be considered an advantage.
