Part time Buddy Support Worker- based in Rustington, near Littlehampton, West Sussex
We are seeking an experienced Buddy/Support Worker to work with a 35 year old man with an acquired brain injury for part time hours in the home and in the community.
Permanent, part time contract (19-25 hours per week)
We are looking for passionate individuals who want to begin working and training as Behaviour Mentors to support our local SEND Schools in Burgess Hill by helping children and young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs) and some Complex Needs (Hearing impairments, Autism, Speech and language delay, ADHD).
Applications for the position are welcome from candidates of ranging experience, and training will be provided, although previous experience working with students with SEMH, particularly challenging behaviours and Trauma & Attachment will be helpful.
